Avoiding Work at Home Program Scams
|
If you are serious about making money online, then avoiding work at home program scams is important.
Finding a stable job has become so tedious and rare that a lot of people, especially those based in the home, are looking for easy-money, work at home jobs over the internet. Most if not all of these work at home jobs promise and exclaim thousands of dollars waiting for the person who will find other people to answer ads the most or who will buy and sell the company products to the most customers in just two months. A lot of people encounter stuff like this over the internet and some of them actually answer these in a blink of an eye, thinking that this is their chance in earning the income that they have dreamed of.
In reality, almost 80% of these jobs are work at home scams.
You as an online user will know if what you are being offered is a scam when you encounter offers that seem too good to be true. Some of these include profit for buying products and selling them as well to other people, creating networks that involve never-ending referrals and invitations to join, and even doing freelance writing and typing jobs for companies who are involved in the web content business. A lot of these companies do not pay their online or freelance employees and writers and cheat on a lot of customers by promising them income once they are able to buy and assemble a certain product or equipment. These things cost a lot on your part as a customer and a work at home enthusiast, so do not let their flowery ads get to you too quickly.
Here are some very rampant examples that you will find all over the internet:
- Ads that invite you to answer surveys and will pay you for your efforts and answers. Most likely they will tell you to pay a certain amount (ex. US $50) to answer a survey that is worth as much as US $3000. Some companies would even ask you to pay for their membership, which is a definite red light sign that you should avoid them immediately.
- Some people encounter ads that promise a large income just by stuffing envelopes if you pay them a certain “small” amount. What usually happens is the company will tell you to post classified ads in newspapers and other media as well for other people to send money just like what you did.
- You are required to spend a large amount of money for equipment and materials that are to be tested for the company. You spend and assemble, thinking that your services will be paid, only to find out that the company refuses to send you your deserved pay because they find your services “below the quality level of the company”.
Any of these work at home scams have the potential of cheating people for their hard earned savings, so as much as possible avoid any of these scams once you encounter them in the papers or online. A lot of the scams are especially available online so keep away from them once you see their flashing ads and pop-up windows while surfing the internet.
