1. Sponsored Blogging. Okay, so maybe this will not really broaden your literary horizon much, but it can afford you some benefit or two. The thing about sponsored blogging is that the topic assigned to you will always be in favor of the company who is hiring you at the moment. Whatever product or service you are supposed to write about must always be written in the positive light.

This may sound more like being paid to do write (positive) reviews, than actual blogging. But most marketers prefer that you put the angle through your supposed perspective and in your blog page or site. If you feel like you can sugar-coat any product or service or company through creative writing, then you might mousey on over to web sites like Blogitive and Pay Per Post.

Online companies like these usually really do pay per post. However, it would be a heck lot better if you would read the terms and agreement so that you would know exactly how much you will get paid per post. Rates may vary depending on the online company you are matched with and the specifics noted per article.

2. Sponsored Blogging For Perks. This pretty much works like any sponsored blogging gig, with one twist. Instead of being paid through your PayPal Account or your e-bank account, you get to have free stuff instead. If you are lucky, you just might land some free laptop or cell phone or digicam before your writing gig, or whatever product that has not yet been launched on a global scale. If you do not particularly need or want the product, you could always put it up on sale at e-Bay. Your part of the deal is to mainly write about it in a positive manner.

By the way, these gigs are harder to come by. So if you want to land on something like this, we recommend you improve your body of work dramatically. Most online companies prefer writers who can blog “efficiently.” This means that your articles should meet company specs and be entertaining at the same time. They have to make sure that your blog articles will pull in readers so as to generate more interest for the product in question.

3. Forum inputting. So maybe, writing 250 to 500 word articles is not really your thing. You can, however, keep up with the topic in a particular forum and add your say coherently. Surprisingly enough, there are now online companies who pay “ringers” or non-members to place in their two bits at a forum thread. Companies like Digital Point and Webmaster are always on the prowl for writers to help keep their forum thread alive with avid discussions. Pay here may be minimal, but it’s actually the volume of your inputs that really count. Naturally, the more replies you add to the forums, the more pay you will receive.
